Membership Benefits

-Member companies share in valuable knowledge and networking with over 35 members in the anodizing industry. Members are encouraged to attend the annual Board of Directors meetings and the bi-annual Symposium to interact with fellow IHAA members and continue such contact one-on-one throughout the year. The meetings are held twice a year in Europe or the U.S.

-Membership in IHAA entitles the company to have a listing on the IHAA website on the “Member List” page.

-Member companies are entitled to one complimentary registration at the bi-annual symposium. This includes the welcome dinner, lunches and farewell reception.Many technical matters concerning hard anodizing are addressed at IHAA's conference where papers are presented on various topics and those in attendance are given ample opportunity to interact with one another.

-Non-Members attending the Symposium may apply their registration fee of towards IHAA membership dues of US$1,200.00 for Firm or Research/University Members and US$1,400.00 for Associate members if application is made during or after the symposium. Membership dues are paid every two years.

-Any IHAA member that recruits a new IHAA member is entitled to a 50% discount in membership dues for the current year. If a second new member is recruited, the dues will be discounted another 50%. If a third new member is recruited, no membership discount will be given.

-Each Firm or Research/University Member shall be entitled to one vote with respect to any matter coming before the membership for action

Membership Categories

Firm Members

Firms engaged in hard anodizing of aluminum components and products. Membership shall be granted upon application and approval by the Board of Directors to all qualified persons, partnerships, and corporations, and their affiliated operations, engaged in the business of the hard anodizing of aluminum components and products.

Research or University Members

University or Research Centers engaged in the use or develop of hard anodizing. Universities or Research Centers in direct competition with Firm Members will not be eligible for the class of membership. Membership shall be granted upon application and approval by the Board of Directors.

Associate Members

Firms who manufacture or supply plant, equipment and products used in the production of hard anodized components or products. Membership shall be granted upon application and approval by the Board of Directors to all qualified persons, partnerships, and corporations, and their affiliated operations engaged in the manufacture of supply of plant, equipment, and products used in the business of the hard anodizing of aluminum components and products. Associate members are not permitted to vote on IHAA matters.

Emeritus Members

Individuals who have had distinguish service with the IHAA and are no longer affiliated with a member or associate firm. Membership shall be granted upon the recommendation of a member firm and approved by a two-thirds (2/3) approval vote by the Board of Directors. Emeritus members are not permitted to vote on IHAA matters.
